Why Choose the CEC Pathway?

No Job Offer Required

Unlike other programs, you don't need a valid job offer at the time of application if you meet the experience criteria.

No Proof of Funds

CEC applicants are exempt from showing proof of settlement funds, making the application process smoother.

Built for Workers in Canada

Specifically designed to retain skilled temporary workers and international graduates already contributing to the economy.

Express Entry Integration

Processed through the Express Entry system, meaning faster processing times (often under 6 months).

Understanding Your NOC & TEER

Your job must fall under specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER categories to qualify for CEC.

How to find your NOC

  1. Go to the official Canadian Government NOC website.
  2. Search by your job title or keywords.
  3. Find the closest match to your main duties.
  4. Check the TEER category (second digit of the 2021 NOC code).

Important: TEER 4 and 5 jobs do NOT qualify for the Canadian Experience Class.
